In this first step I found the area that I wanted to create my artwork. After this I found the plant that I wanted to put inside the bottle.
Step 2
In step 2, I cleared out all the leaves around the two plants so I could only have they and the dirt to work with. When I started I thought that I was going to brush all the leaves so that it looked more natural but changed my mind in favor for the built up design of the leaves.
Step 3
This step shows how I got the bottle to go over the plant. I simply cut out the bottom of the bottle and took the cap off so it would have a direct flow of oxogen.
Step 4
I placed the two bottles over the plants and rotated them so they would be firm in the dirt. I took the caps off of the both of them to make sure they had enough oxogen and room to grow. I look forward to seeing the growth or non-growth next month when I have to check back on them.
Step 5
In this last step I watered the plants and made sure the bottle was firmly in place so things like wind, water or even animals couldn't move it.
After this I took lots of pictures of the piece that can be found at the bottom of the site.
